It's been 3+ years since a single episode has been aired on tv and dubbed.
The reason those videos are on YouTube is because not many people are going to buy stupid DVDs for a show that won't even continue.
I mean seriously, your saying I should buy all the DVDs repeatedly for 3 years hoping that the show will get dubbed again(That's what you guys are doing, at least)
Sorry, but no matter what you do, the majority of case closed fans will keep watching these shows online, until they are dubbed again and aired on tv again, then I'm sure some of those people will try to get rid of videos , online(like I used to)
Also, maybe the reason many DVDs weren't sold was because almost NO ONE watched the show on tv? after all, it was aired on adult swim and at 4-6 in the morning. Hell, I wouldn't have even known what case closed was until I stood up late one night because my parents werent home.
C'mon guys, common sense ~_~...
Also, I just remembered this, but the BIGGEST mistake made in Case Closed was the names.
You guys made "Detective Conan" into "Case Closed", which btw, I think Detective Conan would've gotten more attention. You guys changed the name of ALL the characters except Conan. I mean seriously, lol... You change Genta into George and Mitsuhiko info Mitch.. You could've at least given them a nickname, especially for George =| Kids(with the name George) usually don't call themselves George..
Also, because you changed the name into Case Closed and changed the characters names, a many of Detective Conan(English Subs) fans had no idea that Detective Conan was even dubbed, or at least that's what many people(online) told me.
I never said Case Closed wasn't a great name(it's awesome), I'm saying that people who watched "Detective Conan" in English subs, wouldn't watch Case Closed because how are they supposed to know it's Detective Conan.
And what would the reason for changing the name to Case Closed? Also, Is that the only flaw in my reply? That they had no choice to change it to Case Closed, or is there anymore?(Id like to know ^_^)
actually the name was changed by the owners of the franchise because we already have a CONAN franchiser here thats way they xant use the name . besides this franchise goes by several different names in other countries . all approved by the owner
as for the main name changes, are from the chinese to english translation also approved by the owner, btw the spanish version is doing pretty good and the name changes are not a problem
You guys aren't too... Bright(?)...
