I know there are a number of reasons why Case Closed didn't receive the sales it deserved, but does anyone else agree that the episodes being all over Youtube and other video sites is a major hurt to our cause.Again not saying this is the only reason for the lack sales.I'm sure in a lot of people's minds right now they are saying why buy the dvds if they can be accessed so easily on the internet without paying a cent? Well if everybody is watching the series from the internet then where's the money coming from besides Case Closed's loyal fans. If websites continue to allow people to show full episodes of anime then Case Closed won't be the only one to end up in this situation. I wish the websites could take all full episodes of anime down. Wouldn't you prefer to pay to get new episodes than to watch repeats for free on the internet. What do you guys think?

I agree. First thing, first get rid of the youtube channel's that showcase Case Closed. AND start aiming for websites. It might sound mean to take down the sites and videos. But If y'all are loyal Case Closed fans. You know it needs to be done. So we have to do it. That's just Baby steps. But hey.
Everything has to start from somewhere.
HELLO
Tonight I spoke with Funimation, and I also hand delivered a list of Youtube channels, the one of course being YourCaseClosedTube, and I was told by Sophie that it would be taken down, and to pass along more websites or channels down the road.

That sounds like good new because that's going to effect our chances. I don't get it, if the people who put up these channels were true fans they'd know that they are only hurting Case Closed's chances by showing all of the episodes. It's so stupid but @JImmy Kudo Im glad that you talked to them thanks we'll take it one step at a time.
We have now partnered with Your Case Closed Tube. He and I discussed the best interest of the show, and he has now decided to support our cause by removing episodes, and becoming a partner in carrying our podcast.

I know you said your partnered with yourcaseclosedtube but he is claiming he was hacked and he has a new account called caseclosedtube and he already has the episodes for season one on youtube so I don't think he had any intention of partnering with you.
Very good Job. I applaud you. Btw I didn't know funimation had a phone number, what is that number?
Also should I list all the youtube accounts that have at least one full episode of case closed?
It's a false claim by CaseClosedTube. I have spoken with the admin of YourCaseClosedTube, and we are on the same page. He is fully committed.

Yeah i know at the time it looked suspicious but its good to have YourCaseClosedTube on board. Topgun if funimation had a phone number I wouldn't know it. Also yeah that would probably be a good idea.
In the end with this, you are right guys. There are too many people not willing to spend money on anything. I had friends watch it on youtube and other websites that I dont want DP to take down, and then they'd make me bring my manga to them and have them read it then give it back to me. at least its off youtube now.
Lets do it all again
Well not entirely, episodes from season one are still being shown by CaseClosedTube but I'm hoping his page will be removed asap. I agree with you and all of people are throwing the "economy's to bad" card. Those are just lame excuses. The box sets are usually around twenty dollars, but sometimes its even less than that. If you can't raise that much money up then that's just means you don't really want season 6.
