Animes that make multiple seasons are based on the sales, pirating, and fan base in JAPAN only. I have come to the conclusion that the global fan base, although much greater than in Japan, is meaningless unless the fan base in Japan reaches either 68% of the populace of the country or greater. Yes, they released a trailer and may have intended to release a second season. HOWEVER, the fan base in JAPAN declined, and as such screwed the world out of more, so as with all good animes, the trailer showing Meg being KICK ASS is only a teaser until they decide in a few more years to re-check the polls on the Japanese fan base. Only then, depending on the percentage of the Japanese populace, will they decide to make a second season, or forever scrap it. As an example, Hellsing ended with you finding out Alucard was Dracula, and the season 2 trailor became nothing more than a teaser reel because the Japanese fan Base never picked back up, and Hellsing Ultimate was a true to the manga recreation of the entire series from an AMERICAN company, not based on the Japanese fan polls. I am sorry for going on so long, but if you know how the multiple season anime system works, then you can come to the conclusions I have, or make up your own. Until the next time, may this thread and anime R.I.P. and I look forward to a second season as much as all of you, Amy and Sei are my favorite characters.
I agree, the show was so fun to watch and i loved all the characters but the ending was unsatisfying and somewhat heartbreaking, to many loose ends and Meg just seems to end up all alone.
I'd love to see a second season although I doubt they make it. Like many anime that have been out for awhile they just where not popular enough in Japan to warent a second season. Anime isn't big enough to due releases outside of Japan....although that seems to be changing. Some day down the line we might see animes that are not popular in Japan but popular elsewhere getting more added to their story for the foreign income alone. (AKA profitable enough to put forth the effort.)
I was rather happy with the ending it did leave some thing unanswered but not so much that I was like "wait what?" Like all those American shows that end on a cliffhanger and never make it to a second season.

realy hope that there will be a second but mabye put in a twist liek meg with a love intrest or mabye visions of jo just a thought.
