FUNimation Announcements From Nekocon!

We’ve got the latest titles coming to home video, just announced at the FUNimation Industry Panel at Nekocon! Without further ado, here’s the lineup of what you’ll soon be able to add to your collection!

Tokyo Ravens

synopsis

From the studio behind Aquarion EVOL comes a supernatural fantasy featuring otherworldly battles and forgotten promises. Tokyo Ravens is the story of an ordinary high school boy from a not-so-ordinary family. Hautora was born into an ancient clan of onmyouji known for their mastery of all things occult. Unfortunately, he didn’t inherit the magical ability to see spirit energy, so he was doomed to live a normal life. At least, that is, until a mysterious girl from Harutora’s past returns to alter the course of his future!

 

Part One of the series will be released on 3/17/15 on Blu-ray and DVD Combo. Part Two will follow shortly after in Summer 2015. Please note that release dates are subject to change.

 

FUNimation will be revealing the English cast for the series at Ikkicon in January and the English Dub will premiere at Otakon Vegas.

Fans of the iDOLM@STER franchise won’t want to miss this super cute spinoff! Hyperactive hijinks are sure to follow when the idol girls of 765 Productions discover the mysterious Puchidols – chibis with adorable abilities – have invaded their office!

 

FUNimation will be featuring the director’s cut, which presents the series in maximum marathon format for your viewing pleasure, and the OVAs that were not included in the simulcast.

 

This release will be DVD only with Japanese audio and English subtitles. Season 1 of the series will be released in 2015. Season 2 release date is TBD.
