GIANT APE MEDIA WELCOMES CAST OF STREET FIGHTER: ASSASSIN’S FIST TO NEW YORK COMIC CON

street fighter(Flower Mound, TX) – To celebrate the release of Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist , actors from the film Joey Ansah, Mike Koh, Gaku Space and Akira Koieyma will attend the New York Comic Con October 11th-12th.

 

The cast will appear on the official Twitch livestream at the Twitch booth on Saturday October 11 from 3-3:30pm, followed by an autograph signing at Capcom’s Booth from 5:00pm-6:00pm.

 

On Sunday October 12th a Panel of Street Fighter experts share the latest news on the greatest fighting game franchise in the world! Find out about the latest updates for Ultra Street Fighter IV and how you can earn big money and everlasting fame by competing in the Capcom Pro Tour culminating in the Capcup Finals in December. Special Guest Joey Ansah – Writer, Director and Actor – of the smash hit Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist web series makes an exclusive appearance to share behind-the-scenes details of making the excellent film, share a sneak peek at Giant Ape Media’s upcoming Blu-Ray/DVD release as well as answer Q&A. (Room 1A10)

 

An additional autograph signing will be held at FUNimation/Giant Ape Meida Booth #1520, on Sunday from 3:30pm – 4:30pm.

Following the highly successful theatrical release in August, the movie releases today, Oct 7th, on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD! Fans can relive the epic theatrical event with the Extended Edition Blu-ray Combo pack, which features 20 mins of never-before-seen footage. It also includes the theatrical version of the film, as well as 30 minutes of extra features, both of which are not available on the standard DVD version.

 

You don’t want to miss this! IGN noted the movie has “some of the most exhilarating fight scenes I’ve ever seen.” Fans love the stunning animation, epic new villains, action, and comedy of the film. They called the English dub “phenomenal”.

 

To celebrate the release, two of the starring voice actors from the Dragon Ball Z franchise, Sean Schemmel and Chris Sabat, will attend the New York Comic Con October 10th-11th.

 

In addition to signing autographs for the fans at FUNimation’s Booth #1520, on Friday and Saturday from 3:30pm – 4:30pm, the adored actors will appear on the official Twitch livestream at the Twitch booth on Friday October 10 from 12-1pm.

 

Sean Schemmel plays the voice character of GOKU in the Dragon Ball megaseries as well as voices in Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lupin III and Ah! My Goddess. Schemmel is also an ADR director and screenwriter and has provided voices for a number of English versions of Japanese anime, television series, and video games.

 

Chris Sabat has a multitude of skills including screenwriter, ADR director but for Dragon Ball Z, plays the voices of: VEGETA, PICCOLO, SHENRON, YAMCHA, BUBBLES and more. He also appears in Ghost in the Shell: Arise, Samurai 7, Fullmetal Alchemist and has video game roles in AEon Flux, BloodRayne 2 and The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct!

 

Both men have years of experience creating amazing anime works and have a lot stories to share about the creativity that goes behind making the incredibly popular Dragon Ball Z franchise.

If you’re in New York next weekend for New York Comic Con you will NOT want to miss the English premiere of the highly anticipated third installment in the Evangelion rebuild series! It will be screening at New York Comic Con on Friday, Oct. 11th, at 8pm on the Main Stage (1-D). synopsis:

Shinji Ikari just woke up in his Eva unit fourteen years after starting the Third Impact. He hasn’t aged, but everything else has changed. The earth is in ruins. Rei is missing. The people he once protected treat him like a prisoner and threaten to kill him if he pilots another Eva.
