Giant Ape Media acquires extended rights for hit cable series LOST GIRL

lost girl bo season 5Flower Mound, TX – July 24, 2014 – Giant Ape Media announced today that it has extended the Blu-ray & DVD, DTO/DTR/EST, (and via digital carriers) PPV and VOD rights to the hit series, Lost Girl. The series is currently in production for season 5.


Series synopsis:


When we last saw the supernatural seductress Bo (Anna Silk: Being Erica; Billable Hours), she and her allies had been caught up in a fierce battle for the fate of the world. Her mysterious, long-absent father, turns his daughter into the Dark Queen in his ploy to escape from hell.  Bo’s allies—both Fae and human—manage to fight back his army of undead revenants, but only at the great loss of one of their own.


Lost Girl was developed by Prodigy Pictures, in association with Shaw Media and Showcase. Executive producers are Jay Firestone, Vanessa Piazza, and Michael Grassi.

New Release Tuesday – Code:Breaker, DBZ, and Lost Girl

Code:Breaker is available now on BD/DVD Combo. This series comes from the director of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. So, how many lives can a hero take before he becomes a villain?


series synopsis:


Rei Ogami doesn’t have a problem with killing. As a Code:Breaker—a super-powered assassin employed by a secret government organization—he works outside of the law, existing in the gray area between right and wrong. When Rei gets an assignment, criminals are cremated in a blaze of blue fire. That is, until a classmate named Sakura witnesses his fatal flames in action and makes it her mission to keep him from killing again.


As Sakura becomes entrenched in Rei’s world of cruelty, mayhem, and violence, the line between good and evil begins to blur. When another Code:Breaker goes rogue and the remaining assassins assemble, murder might be the only way to make things right.
