SPACE DANDY to be broadcast simultaneously in Japan and North America

Flower Mound, TX – (October 25, 2013) It was announced today that Adult Swim will broadcast the English dub version of “Space Dandy” on television in North America beginning January 2014. This is the first time an anime series on Adult Swim will have a simultaneous TV broadcast with Japan. In addition to Japan and North America, the show will have a simulcast broadcast in numerous countries in Asia.


FUNimation Entertainment (a Group 1200 Media Company) has announced that it has acquired the home entertainment, digital, theatrical, and merchandise rights to the animated sci-fi action series. English production will be done by FUNimation Entertainment, in association with the Space Dandy Production Committee in Japan.

Friday Frights – Week 6 – BLOOD-C: The Last Dark

Halloween is almost here, but Saya’s already back for revenge. This has been a banner year for horror in anime, so we decided to get an early start giving the terror lovers, costume fanatics, and party animals among you a whole heck of a lot to watch! Every Friday until Halloween we’re going to deliver up a series or movie to enjoy during the weekend as we start ramping up to fright night!


We’ve been very excited about the BLOOD-C TV series winning Best Animation in the 2013 Reaper Awards, especially because we’ve just released the film that finishes off the series: BLOOD-C: The Last Dark. Production I.G has brought their A-game to this gorgeous partnership with manga superstars CLAMP, and if you only watched the first episode or two of the TV series, we think the movie will shock you…in a good way!


Hetalia Day 2013

October 24 is United Nations Day, which marks the anniversary of the United Nations charter, but for Hetalia fans, it’s also a celebration of international antics and nation-on- nation bromance known as Hetalia Day! Now on its fifth year running, Hetalia Day (this year on October 26, to fall on a Saturday) is a by-fans-for-fans global meetup event of Hetalia fans, held in over a hundred different cities all across the world—from Australia to Peru, Hungary to Malaysia, Canada and the US, and everywhere in between.
