Funimation has been dropping the ball in the PR department. First they pull all the streaming episodes, then they go completely silent on releasing even a sub only of Black Rock Shooter. What the hell?! I have a feeling that I'm going to end up importing the DVD from the UK and converting it over to NTSC if Funimation just lets this property die. What a complete waste to license something you never intend to release.

Well, it was part of the FUNico deal, so there could be something from that holding up the rights, or it just might not have gotten good streaming numbers.
I can't find the PR, but I don't remember FUNi announcing home video rights when this was announced, so it isn't like they're backing out on something they've already said they'd do.

Just because something is licensed for streaming does not automatically mean it will be DVD.
