guys I bought the second half season set, and when I put it into my computer Windows media player shows me the cover art for the save edition, and I preordered the thing...... so what does this mean for the series. funimation thought that they would not be able to sell enough of the second half season to warrent giving it's own print, and instead rushed it to save edition....... why would they do that? it is probably because they thought that the sales would not be high enough to meet the lowest number of discs that they could print...........so .... lets just talk about season 2 and season 1 and the manga k. did anyone see the ova for season 2
Nuh-uh. I haven't watched season 2 yet either. Been busy, having people over. Psh, rushing to save edition is not cool. They should have tried to advertise it better instead, I think. Oh, where do you read the manga? I'd like to read it too. ^_^

The first season just didn't sell so well that it basiclly went straigh to the save line to boost sales but still didn't too well. Suck cuz it was a suprisengly good series.
Alright so i only watched this show because my sister watches funimation all the time and a commercial came on for this show and i love baseball. It was very good, watched the dubbed ones in one day on youtube. Now i don't watch any other anime, and don't plan to, so correct me if i'm wrong but since these are now airing on tv shouldn't people paying for the commercials during that slot end up paying a lot more than dvd sales which would allow them to dub season 2 if they really wanted to right?
I don't usually like sports anime but I bought this one because it was on S.A.V.E and therefore cheap enough to buy and run the risk of it being bad. It wouldn't hurt the bank account too much.
I love Big Windup after I watched the 1st season on youtube I had to but and and watch it again but I was disappointed when I found out that Funi wasn't going to licence it but I hope that changes. I am going to show as many people about this anime as possible. My hopes are high.
I LOVEDDDDDDD THIS SHOW. I feel like if more people really knew what it was about and watched a few episodes it would rate better. The fact that there isnt a season 3 and i cant find the manga after season 2 makes me superrrr sad. i wish funimation would play it more often on tv and play season 2 and make a season 3. im obsessed w Abe and Tajima.
Yes, I really did enjoy the first season of Big Windup and was surprised to find the English version of this show to be better than the Japanese version and I am also saddened that Funimation will not release Season 2 of this show and that is a shame because Season 2 was actually pretty good but the only problem I had with it was that it was in Japanese only and it gets a little frustrating to watch a sub only show that has a whole bunch of talking in it. Anyways, I can't wait for Season 3 of this show and will probably end up buying the S.A.V.E. edition of this show some time. Speaking of the S.A.V.E. edition, does it come with both English and Japanese audio track or just English tracks only?
I'm not usually into sports anime, but after I watched the first episode of Big Windup that changed my mind. The characters are so funny and well executed. I love Big Windup so much and wish FUNimation would dub the second season. Oh and to Todd Haberkorn and Greg Ayres out there great job with Tajima and Abe.

I reject your reality and replace it with my own.
