For me, I really can't stand anime that overly panders, specially anime that panders to the LCD (lowest common denominator) of viewers, to much fan service or toilet humor is a turn off for me. But its not just those elements that bother me, to much of anything can easily get annoying over time.
I also hate when a character in a series overuses their catch phrase, BELIEVE IT! *shot*
Aside from that, can't really think of anything else atm.
well i don't filler like in dbz where its like 3 episodes of talking and powering up!! and i also kinda dont like when animes just flat out tell you what girl the guy gonna pick, i like for them all to have a chance..
I hate fan service when the show is brilliant. NHK is a very good example of this, because I want to recommend it to every one but there's a level of embarrassment to it. Like if it's a pure comedy I don't mind it but this is why I am so glad Serial Experiments Lain played it straight.
I don't have a problem with fan service as long as it isn't every other scene then it really bugs me. I also have to agree with 7jaws7, animes that drag on make me lose interest fast.
i like shows that are a bit random but still keeping close to the plot but i just feel confused when its all too random also anime that seems to drag just makes me go and watch another more interesting one
Fanservice, it's insulting to say that all guys "are supposed to" like it, I'm a 20 year old man, real world scenarios can cause guys to HATE it like me; besides, fanservice jokes have the same punchlines over and over. I'd rather be a depressing-looking doll on strings than deal with these predictable jokes.

Once upon a time, Lime from Saber Marionette was so cute with her hugs, a real person decided to give lots of hugs. THE END Megumi Hayashibara may be in her 40s, but she still looks adorable. Zzzzz....... Deficiency of cuteness detected, initiating Kawaii Cannon! There was a hug monster who gave lots of hugs and we all lived happily ever after. THE END
Depending on the anime and the situation, I hate when it's a serious moment and they throw something really stupid all of a sudden like a joke or one liner that makes the focus character scream at the other person making the comment or other things like that.
I can't stand (as many people already mentioned) too much fanservice. I can't stand panty shots and outrageous bust sizes. It's a shame how many shows that have pretty interesting plot lines are ruined by it.
Ahh.. But filler is fun!

Anime needs more wonderbread
I don't like too much fanservice in anime and too many fillers .
Anime that are slow and boring are a real pain to watch. Say what you want about fanservice, but at least it keeps the show humorous and entertaining.
