They're talking about the opening song/animation (and the ending song/animation) being shortened.
I love Resonance; it's one of my favorite opening themes ever so I was sad to see it get shortened even if I knew they would have to. Darn commercials (though seeing a FE Awakening commercial made me very happy).

So I'm about to lay some conspiracy theories down on your unprepared minds. Last night it was announced by Rightstuf that Last Exile: Fam, the Silver Wing's release date was bumped up to September 10th. ThunderCats is set to end March 31st. How much time is in between those two dates? 23 Weeks. 23 weeks for 23 episodes.
I'm going to once again bet on Fam, this time as a replacement for ThunderCats instead of Samurai 7.
Yeah sadly Funi cuts all their ops for the anime the put on TV, just like VIZ does with the EDs. Personally i'd rather Funi be more like VIZ leave the OPS intact and just make the eds super short, but whatcha gonna do.
@Roots: Agreed, I think there is a good Chance FAM will replace T-Cats *and if T-cats stays on for a second run probably be pushed back to the grave-yard shift part of the block, maybe taking Inuyasha's spot*
