WOW you really can't just enjoy a nice shout-out can yea? Anywho man what a night, I don't think i've been that happy in ages.
I will say though if the next week on Bleach adverts and the Later at the end of the Transmission were just cockteases that'll probably P.O. me abit, I mean I know they are, but would'nt it be nice if it was legit, I mean not everything on April 1st has to be a special or a prank/joke. Heck Marvel's starting their new Animation Block on Disney XD today.

You know I've got a crazy Idea (Blame the sleep deprivation, lol) I suggest everyone go out or online and buy a Bandai, Funimation, Nozomi/Rightstuff &/or VIZ anime they have been eyeing, show the companies & williams street anime on Television can still help sells. Who knows maybe they could be convinced to make TOM's comeback legit.
I mean they brought back Brak & Zorak for the "Best Of CN" Block, no reason TOM can't come back too right!?

Also if anyones interested on the Adult Swim Boards under the ASA Premires section theres a thread for Toonami, I only mention this because they usually just put a thread in that section when its for a premire, theres also alot of people posting on how much they enjoyed the April Fools Present and would love to see TOM return every Saturday night. On Top of that Steve Blum apparently tweeted that he really enjoyed doing TOM again and would love to see the character be used on a regular basis like he used to be.
So yeah, who knows if Williams Street & CN get enough positive feedback and enough demand, maybe we could see Toonami come back to Saturday Nights. Given that may just be me being overly Optimistic, but who knows, maybe [Adult Swim] genuinely is testing the waters to see if the Disciples of Tom will still flock to him, lol.

Ah, so you're saying that advertising a set using footage from another show that has yet to be re-released is good and then using HD masters for another show and not even promote the format that it's on (Blu-ray) while promoting those horrible quality DVDs is also good?

I for one was happy to see this probably short-lived return. In all honesty I've never stayed up for the whole Adult Swim block, or even close. Usually I'm done once whatever is running new episodes is over. But for this I stuck it out practically all night. Sure the 'prank' might be that people got their hopes up that this return is for good, but who cares, it was still a great gift to the fans and makes up pretty well for all of Adult Swim's past April 1st pranks on the anime fans.
