Tenjho Tenge needs a rerelease Funimation should have the license when they took geneon , right?
I'm with yea mate, but sadly Funimation HAS NOT acquired the rights to Tenjho Tenge. And they didn't "Take Geneon" they just acquired some of the titles they owned once they became defunct.

I meant to say took geneon's shows and I thought it was all the shows they had at that time
I mean it's already dub so they just need to release it as one of anime classics.
I agree. The last time I seen that anime it was on Fuse and I stumble on it by accident - lol

No its a Senien FIghter, but yes it has its fair share of fan-service in it. As for why it wasn't picked up, probably because they had already acquired Ikki Tousin.
But hey who knows they can always pick it up later on if they feel like it.

I can see that the show wouldn't really be a successful release, but it seems all the shows I like don't have any recent releases. Tenjho Tenge, Fate/Stay Night, Code Geass (Blu-ray), Gundam 00 (blu-ray), Blood+, and Hellsing (which just got a release for november).
Who knows why FUNi skipped on this. They also skipped on rescuing DearS which is a fanservice show.
Well there's always importing from the UK or Australia. I need a region-free DVD player with each passing day.

Don't want to have to double dip again. It seems like the australian release is rather new, but i don't know if it has the best quality it can be.
Pretty sure they passed on it, ANN didn't say they picked it up.

This was a fun show. I always found the op addictive and is probably one of my favorites. I picked up the huge artbox geneon set for around $50 and I think even though it takes up a good bit of space, next to Kara no Kyoukai it is probably my favorite looking thing on my shelf. If anyone is looking for it there is one up on ebay right now with about a day and a half left at $25. I'm sure it'll go up a good bit but it's always possible it could be snagged at a good price like I got it.
