Seriously, I think it's pointless to hope that FUNimation will attain these licenses... after all it has taken them over a year it seems since they acquired Shana and Toaru... Neither series even has a teaser leading anyone to believe that they're even being worked on. Instead we're hanging on waiting.

I also keep hearing about this "FUNimation channel" as the average Joe with COX cable which channel is the FUNimation channel? I keep changing channels, but none of them list FUNimation as a potential channel...

From Otakon 2011, here is the reason why Shana and Toaru have not been released:

19:22:35 Q: re-release of original series
19:22:55 A: the tenchi series, hellsing, blacklagoon, all the stuff from AX last year.. had a very long term materials delay, just starting to work on them
19:23:13 they won't send materials until the geneon/universal merge is finished
19:23:16 hopefully sooner than later
19:23:25 as soon as we get materials, we'll tell you a thing

Cox cable does not have the FUNimation Channel and if you want the FUNimation Channel for your home with Cox Cable, all you need to do is request it because if they don't know there is a demand for it, you won't be getting it.

Beelzebub
--though judging by Funimation's current track record for long running series like Detective Conan, D.Gray-Man, and One Piece*, I doubt they'd make any long term commitment any show unless "DragonBall" is in the title.

Ladies X Butlers
Princess Lover
Manyuu Hikenchou
Seikon no Qwaser
--As much as I love these shows, nobody has the balls to actually licensed these shows... it would be nice though.... but there's no chance in hell. And that's why I import the uncensored blu-rays and stream episodes from other sites.

Kiddy Girls-and
--Sequel to Kiddy Grade, Funimation's first legitimate, uncut, unedited, non-butchered release. DO IT.

Basquash!
--Set in a world where the Rich live on the moon, while the poor are stuck on Earth. And the new national pastime is a sport called Basquash, which is a game where the atheletes play Basketball while piloting giant robots. Yes you read correctly....GIANT ROBOTS PLAYING BASKETBALL. The show's style is close to that of FLCL , Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, and Gurran Laggann.

Blood-C
--It's loosely a sequel to Blood+

School Rumble 3rd Semester
--The show's freakin' hilarious we need closure dammit!!! What the hell's taking so long?!

@Shiroi: Yeah your probably right. I just hope someone considers getting it after its finished production.

Also for the sake of staying on topic.... *gets down on kness* Oh Please Funi...Please get additional rights to Tatami Galaxy!

Oh and I guess if Fairy Tail sells well..maybe get the OVA's for it.

Since Viz Media is prolly never going to bring these over to the states, I would love to see Funimation license the Rumiko Takahashi OVA's that were used for the 50th anniversary of Shonen Sunday (Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, and Urusei Yatsura). Please Please PLEASE bring them here somehow!!!!

Kimi Ni Todoke (i love this <3)
Bakemonogatari
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

I'm sorry to be a bother, but where do you go to ask about things that aren't anime that you would like to be dubbed, for example: Hetalia Character songs ? hmm

Thanks For reading this, hope that you get some of these titles~ wink

Seitokai Yakuindomo

--It's probably the most vulgar slice-of-life anime ever produced, and it's freakin' hilarious!

I would like to see the following anime dubbed.

- Shugo Chara (My Guardian Characters)
- Yumeiro Patissiere
- Mermaid Melody

Please FUNimation try to get the licenses for these three anime series and dub them. Much appreciated.

Re: Shows you'd like to see licensed by FUNimation

Been rewatching some of my Tenchi DVDs today..and I remembered...we still don't have Masaki's latest anime in the U.S.

So i'm gonna throw in my request for

Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari

Hopefully after Funi gets around to re-releaseing the Tenchi series, they can get around to acquring this.

Oh.. and Mawaru Penquindrum would be a nice pick up too, since its from some of the same peeps that did Utena.
