I've found grammatical errors from every North American company at some point or another, Sentai is no exception. Though I have no problem buying their "Speed Subbed" stuff.
If it means more money back into the industry, I'd rather give it to them, and their grammatical errors, rather spend nothing and mooch off of the Sub-sites, in which case Zero dollars spent for anime = zero dollars in circulation to license more.
I'll take Sentai at their absolute worst, I'll take scratched discs, and broken art covers, I'll take the crappiest most disgusting looking box-art, and packaging and cherish it a million times more than I would some ripped bootleg, fan-subbed, piece of ego.
An okay company, but I much prefer Funimation, Viz Media, and Bandai at the present time.
Thing being, they don't have many titles I'm interested in and the one or two that I am interested in I haven't gotten because they're sub only. [which I hope isn't a permanent factor]
I'm liking Sentai more each year, though I was a fan of ADV too. It also helps that Sentai is screening their stuff once a month at one of the local theaters for free (kind of like what FUNimation does here in Houston, except that FUNi does it every week and not just once a month).

Viz seems more concerned about print than they do animation these days, at least Sentai is constantly seeking out new anime to license meanwhile Viz is doing the same from the manga side of things. I wish Viz put a little more effort into their anime instead of just pushing Naruto all the time, but I guess they are just focusing on what has made them money in the past.
Well, that isn't really the only series they're releasing uncut animation-wise, but I digress as it is a smaller number. Mainly my preference stems from that two of said series [Shippuden and Bleach] are my top two favorites.
Sentai is getting into the game with licensing, but my beef is that only select works are actually bi-lingual and none of them are the licenses I care about. [I understand the reason for it, but it doesn't mean I have to like it.]
Well, Sentai Filmworks' president is the same one just as ADV Films, so Sentai is actually ADV Films' successor, although independently formed. They seem to make the "Neo-ADV" fight back real hard to gain dominance in the anime distribution market if you combine their titles with ADV films' current library of titles (excluding those that were acquired by FUNimation, Bandai Entertainment, etc.). It don't know what's going to happen if Section23 goes out of business. I don't even know what's going to happen if all 3 season of Hell Girl get released as a complete boxset since FUNimation licenses season 1 while Sentai licenses seasons 2 & 3. Should Sentai separate from Section 23 and merge with FUNimation or should FUNimation give season 1 to Sentai.

This is my favorite thing to do on the forum:
