Judging by the episode preview, if Kirito doesn't obliterate that glasses freak, I will. (I have nothing against people who wear glasses, just this guy.)
Edit: I gotta say, I am really satisfied with this episode, but I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet.
same here, I honestly never expected something so gratifying. looking forward to see what the seed will spawn
TOO F***ING FAR!!! EVEN FOR AN ANIME!!! I really couldn't care less how you take this post. I'm putting down exactly how I feel. That pr*** got what he deserved. With the pain limiter or leveler, whatever, at 0, he should be dead. Your mind would register all of it at such a high level that it would more than likely cause your heart to stop. When all that crap was going down I was clenching my fist so hard I couldn't move my fingers back. I was already down for other reasons but Asuna, Kirito and Yui being together made me feel so much better and then he went and pulled what he did. Anime or not, I won't tolerate s*** like that. On that note, I still enjoyed the series and do hope for more but if anything else along those lines pops up, I will not hesitate to drop this in an instant. I guarantee some people could list other animes that may do some of the same or worse and I'm asking you, please don't. I do not want to or care to know.
I don't know who but I know somebody mentioned back near the start of the arc that they could see Kayaba having some kind of role in this one and I have to say, good foresight. That was a good call. I don't think there should be any doubt that the other arcs will more than likely be made especially after the introduction of that "world seed" I believe it was called.

Lastly, i thought Kirigaya "sister"'s facial expression was odd when her "brother" hugged her when he came to the real world. what was that about?
I think she was surprised because of that fight they'd had. She may have expected him to hold a little resentment towards her.

I'm woundering wha tthe outcome of the 300+ captives will be. I'm woundering if Klein is one of the 300 since he wasn't in this portion of the show. But I'm willing to bet alot of them are mostly likely mentally scared to a point normal life in scociety is gunna be very rough for them.
They'll probably be fine. When those "scientists" were bragging to Asuna one told her that the captives were "dreaming" or something like that. Maybe some issues readjusting but I don't think they'll be mentally scarred. And if so, hopefully not so badly that they won't be able to recover.
@Graedan: With regards to the above quote/response: You could have a point there with your pessimistic part.
With my mind distracted from writing this, I'm calmer, but still pissed. At least he FINALLY got what he deserved.

Welll I doubt well see more characters like him in this series. Well hope so anyway. Cause that kind of character really p***** me off. I understand what your saying.

I agree wholeheartedly, I was so "no their not going to ...". But it was almost necessary to enrage kirito to be able to get up from being pinned down and his hatred for oberon was expressed by cutting him up...I was reading CR's sAO forum and you would not believe the number of people who were pissed at kirito and thought it unfair fight and not justified...WHAT????c,mon now.....my hands too wwere clenched and could not wait for kirito to slaughter Oberon.....
I don't know... I agree he was a complete disgusting lunatic, but I don't think that it should be the last we see of Oberon and there should be another conflicting scene with him in ep 25. I understand the pain level or whatever it was called was set to 0, but it was also lowered to 3 when he attacked Kirito, and while we do not know the scale that the numbers actually represent, Kirito obviously suffered no lasting effects at all from being run through with his sword and having it stuck in him for a good while. Something with Asuna waking up and talking with her father about how Oberon really is or something along those lines...

Oberon mentioned that once the pain level thing was set to 3 or lower it would start having effects on their bodies in the real world. I can't remember specifically, but I don't think Oberon lowered Kirito's that far before Kirito took over. Kirito set Oberon's pain level thing to 0 so unless Oberon was lying, his real body should have sustained at least some damage. Regardless, there should still be a scene in the next episode that wraps everything with Sugou up. His crimes in ALO need to be brought to light and he needs to face his punishment.
And yeah, I'm with everybody else who says that Oberon took things a few steps too far this episode. That was just.... ugh. I understand he's supposed to be completely evil and crazy, but I thought it was already established and it wasn't necessary to have Asuna be assaulted like that.
yeah we are gunna get an Suguo scene I'm sure. And if he told the truth, what wil lhis state of mind or physical being be like. I really just want to see Asuna rip him apart. Verbal or literal. But cinsidering her state, it'll have to be verbal.
Ah. Its always meloncholic to see a good series end. Spoilers for final ep *25*
So yeah we get Sugou, who looks like he took physical damage form the pain sensors at 0. But he's still crazy. I'm glade they didn't have Kazuto kill him though. THat character was trash, scum and loads of other things but killing him wasn't worth the coast of his own future. Scaring him so bad he pissed his pants was a rather nice touch though. Stil would have loved to see Asuna lay him out herself though. Was glade to see Liz and Silica agian. And of course Klein too. Good to hear no after effects happend to anyone traped for the experiments. And see them attendin the school. Looks like we see what could be the starting set up for what Accel world has with theri network of interchanging virtual worlds too, thanks to Kirito having Agil share the World see with everyone. Wil be interestin to see how this might play out later if we can get more SAO animated. And by the end to see the Castle Aincrrad come back and all the player go towards in, after Kirito providing some self assurence to Leafa, was pretty cool. And I guess all their stats were reset form what Kirito said. So looks like they get to rebuild themselves up. This tiem though I think Kirito might actauly join in a guild though. .lol
Anyways hope we can get more SAO in the future. I've enjoyed this show. Some things may have seem like a bit of let downs here and there but over all this was my favorite show of the past few seasons. Would love ot see the more of this one.
I looked forward to each episode weekly and thought this a great show. Regarding todays final ep, I thought they focused too much time onKirito & Leafa...and was that Asuna who finally joined the two in the end because it did not look like her. Had to watch it twice to examine. I further thought it weird that their using the AOL avatars for the SAO setting, Aincrad. It was a bit unbelievable to see the players who discussed readapting to real life was difficult but joined the virtual world at the end. But no matter, iit's over and I smiled a lot during this ep. Espec when learning that Kazuto did not kill Suguo so that he'd have to survive the rest of his life in lockup.
Edit: I gotta say, I am really satisfied with this episode, but I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet.
