@ DrewFace520 on top of what batou01 said RightStuf is a great retailer and when you find I good price go for it. Their packaging is miles above what Amazon does. RightStuf has very good protection and my stuff always arrive in great condition.
My biggest problem is that I'm too impatient. So when I order from Rightstuf I can't wait on the free shipping and end up spending the $18 for 2nd day air, and after I add that on it's back up to the price I can get it on Amazon for with my free 2 day Prime shipping. So I usually use Rightstuf for either exclusives (like Kara no Kyoukai) or things I'm itching to get early like I was with Steins;Gate.

I've been buying from rightstuf for a little while, and I know I commented earlier about it, but to repeat the positives and negatives:
Positives
+Great customer service overall
+materials can arrive at your home even before the street date - even here in Canada (provided customs doesn't piss around with it)
+Great commication - emails are answered and addressed quickly, phone personel is courteous and helpful
+neat little freebies and promo gear - I know it's no big deal, and I'm not into fluff, but that Steins;Gate pin and that littel prop card(C - Control) are pretty f%cking cool, then I hear they're giving away a calender for Blood -C, just too awesome - oh, and the pre-order prices are great too
+There are always sales going
Negatives
-stuff does arrive timely even for international shipping (Canada), however this can be nulified because customs can really throw a wrench into an otherwise smoothly running machine
-Voice over on call waiting or when service is closed is quite cheesy and silly, but I suppose people like it(I'm not one of them)

Loved it. Smiled the whole time.
Plus, it was cool to see the warehouse and stuff like that. Remember folks, use those sticky notes responsibly.
-I know you liked this video among many others, I wasn't one of them, not trying to be a dink or a troll, just my thoughts, but I did like the footage of the warehouse and their operations, on that;
I'd love to see a video where the manager/CEO/whatever tours the viewer around their facitlity by going to each department and letting the manager/supervisor of that area (provided they're comfortable with it) to show the area to the viewer. Being that my job is supply chain maintenance/management, shipping/receiving, inventory investigation this would be a treat for myself especially. Even if it was a little 15minute tour or something, that would be neat.
Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives by a considerable amount of factors - guess I'm going to keep shopping with rightstuf
I've never called them, just emailed, but voice overs annoy me more than the music. I hate being put on hold, so email is always my go-to unless I need a more immediate answer to a question, but TRSI has always promptly answered any and all of my emails.
But yeah, I've been shopping with TRSI for about a year and a half now. They've never let me down in that time (though I was a little sad not to get the S;G pin even though ordered back in July ). I don't like that I have to fill out and mail in my owed taxes to the state since they don't collect tax outside of Iowa, but their prices more than make up for it. I still use B&N for most my manga (other than Viz since the Viz titles I buy are full-price or if I want something a little sooner) since their prices can be almost half-off at times and my membership gives me free express shipping, but for anime, TRSI will always be first on my list (then Amazon).
I can't imagine not buying my anime online anymore. I'll still go to the bookstore for manga, but I have to roll my eyes every time I go into FYE hoping they might've gotten in an OOP anime (Higurashi) and priced it decently. Seeing them try to sell sets for full price is just.... sigh.

Nah, it's cool. Not everybody likes everything (else the world would be mighty boring). It was admittedly a little cheesy but it's nice that they were willing to make a video like this for their customers. I appreciate when companies try to connect with their customers even if it's just a silly video.
And yes, I can totally relate to wanting to see more of the warehouse. It looks a bit tighter than the one at my workplace, but I like how they have the products organized on the shelves in the video. The packing "demo" in the vid was neat too. I hope they make a tour video someday, even if it's just a short one.
Yes and no - given my circumstances being in Canada, amazon.com at times has lower prices than rightstuf, but, I get free shipping if I order now it's $250 used to $150, but either was it isn't too bad, then I account for customs costs, which I would pay for an amazon.com order anyways, so in the big picture, rightstuf is cheaper, then there's also rightstuf preorders are cheaper too, and even some of the older titles.
So I rarely go amazon.com, however, sometimes amazon.ca is even cheaper in the sense I don't have to pay shipping or customs costs, and sometimes, in a weird way, certain titles are cheaper with them - that happened with heaven's lost property. Also, Amazon.ca orders come here in under a week.
So, there are many factors to consider when online ordering.
