It seems Media Blasters is getting back to licensing some good stuff instead of their usual hentai, anime porn, heavy fanservicy anime, etc.
As for the new anime license? Who knows? With any luck, it could be Sailor Moon (a redub done in New York would be a good idea)!
lol, they wouldn't redub it but they would probably give it the same treatment that Tekkaman Blade & Voltron got (edited dub & sub-only sets sold separately) which i wouldn't mind (as long as the subs are retranslated) but it would sure piss off a lot of people.
I expect MB to licensed Seikon no Qwaser/The Qwaser of Stigmata if anyone's going to. (And do an English dub with the same studio as Queens Blade or at least a decent alternative.) No idea if that's their "big" title or not though.
This might sound odd but I wish they'd charge a little more for their releases. I think their English dubs could benefit from a slightly higher production budget.
Frankly, if Funi isn't going to license Madoka, I'd like to see MB get it. I'll not post ill of the other companies but while Funimation is my top choice (as it would show interest in magical girl titles), I would accept MB as an alternative since if it were the "big" title, they'd likely give it an English dub. Their dubs may be hit or miss but at least they exist.
Geez, I hate waiting and mystery, just tell us what you're doing and be done with it.

The North American anime distributor Media Blasters announced on Tuesday that it acquired the Bakuman. television anime series. Media Blasters' AnimeWorks label will start releasing the anime on DVD this November with the first seven episodes and an English dub.
The original manga that inspired the anime was written by Tsugumi Ohba and drawn by Takeshi Obata — the co-creators of Death Note. The story involves Moritaka Mashiro, a junior high school student, who is persuaded to work towards becoming a manga creator with the encouragement of two classmates. In the anime version, Moritaka is voiced by Atsushi Abe, whose other recent roles include the protagonist Akiyuki in Xam'd: Lost Memories.

The second season is scheduled to begin airing in Japan this fall. The new season was first announced in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine last December.

I seriously never expected them to pick up Bakuman. The likely candidates were VIZ Media and FUNimation Entertainment. I can only wonder if they'll keep stuff like this up.
I'm so adding this to my collection i also never thought that MB would be the ones to license the Bakuman series but just as long as were getting a release here in the U.S just hope MB get a decent studio to do the dub.

Since they do get the type of anime you wouldn't want your kids watching , I'd like them to license and dub Charger Girl Ju-den chan

I was surprised they got it too, but I'm definitely glad someone did get it at last. I'll be picking it up when I can hopefully.
