"The character goods maker MOVIC announced on Thursday that it will start selling Gintama' sneakers on August 11. The design of the 6,980-yen (about US$86.60) shoes is inspired by the outfit of the ongoing anime's lead character Gintoki Sakata.

The shoes will arrive in small (about 23 centimeters/9 inches) and medium (about 24.5 centimeters/9.6 inches) sizes in ANIMATE stores nationwide, the ANIMATE Online Shop, and MOVIC's own mail-order service."
