One of the most hilariously awesome and overall kickass characters in all of One Piece.
Listen Funimation, eventually you're going to end up having to dub the Impel Down Arc. Instead of using one of your usual voice actors, get Tim Curry to voice the role instead.The reasons why should be fairly obvious.
But in case they're not I'll explain. We know that Oda's inspiration for this character came from two men. Norio Imamura, a real life Okama and a member of Mayumi Tanaka's acting troupe in Japan. And Tim Curry's role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Norio Imamura already voiced Ivankov for the Japanese dub. Funimation has to get Curry to voice Ivankov for the English dub. I honestly can't imagine anyone else's voice coming out of Ivankov's mouth whenever I read the manga. This role is quite literally perfect for him. He's done a ton of voice acting before. There's absolutely no reason why you guys couldn't just call and ask if he'd b interested.
Please. Please. Pleaaaaaaase!
