I'm not sure how obscure it is, but I watch Kiddy Grade and have started watching Neo Angelique Abyss. I know I'm a guy watching a series that is considered shojo, but Neo Angelique Abyss has more fighting than you would expect. it's plotline is also pretty good, as well.

Binbou Shimai Monogatari, I absolutely love this little show.

I've got a fair number of things around here I would call obscure, but my favorite that gets that classification has to be Nerima Daikon Brothers. It seems as though nobody's ever heard of it.

Hmm, I guess the only truly obscure anime I've seen in Hanaukyo Maid Team. I liked it but I wouldn't count it amongst my favourite anime
