Episode 1
I loved this episode! This was a fantastic start to the Fate/Zero anime, great seeing the novel animated. I feel everything was done excellently. The animation was awesome, I like the opening theme a lot, and it did a great job with the Fate/Zero story. I can't wait to see the next episode!

I agree. Also, I wasn't expecting the length of the episode to be about the same size as two episodes, but it wasn't a split episode.
The ending was probably my favorite part with the introduction of Saber, Lancer and the big guy. We already had Assasin intro'd during the episode, and the other two will be intro'd probably in episode 2.

That owned pretty hard, even if it was like 40 mins of exposition. I've been told Fate/Zero wasn't Urobuchi's best work(but it's sort of hard to top Saya no Uta and Madoka), but I love what I have seen of his writing so I'm super excited for this show. I can't wait to see the action heat up.

This is pretty awesome for a prequel. I wasn't a huge fan of the original, but Zero has a sort of gothic feel to it that's really appealing to me. And even just watching her in those final seconds, Saber's starting to grow on me
I am so ridiculously pumped for this series and have been waiting for it to get underway since the announcement of it's creation and this first episode did not disappoint. Ya there was no fighting, ya there was basically no Saber, but we get to see most of our Master and Servant pairings and some nice little tidbits of story. Gotta say, this series is definitely going to be a nice bit of eye candy as well, everything was just beautiful.
Being the Saber fanboy that I am I gotta agree that my favorite moment of this whole episode was Saber being summoned and saying to Kiritsugu, "I ask...*Opens eye's*, are you my master?", big ole smile on my face lol. I can't wait for this to shift into gear!

This is awesome, looks like I'm going to wait an extra week in order to watch the next episode just so I can view it in all it's HD glory. It was eye candy before and has just upgraded itself to eye professionally made cake lol. Waiting the extra week though will be mighty difficult knowing I can see it on NicoNico

Episode 2 is up. And what an episode!
Did Caster just use The Necronomicon to summon an Elder One? That might be one of the coolest things I've ever seen in anime. Even if I do feel pretty bad for that kid...

Wow, I'm already enjoying this a lot more than stay/night. I wonder: did Kotomine knowingly send Assassin to his death?
