@Vata: How about if Funi starts to release 24-26 episode series in 2 3-DVD+2-Blu Ray collections in a combo pack (or 3 2-DVD+1 Blu-Ray collections in a combo pack), which is what Sentai is now doing.
I will admit this though, with Geneon, sort of gone - I don't know their deal, are they owned by Universal or something? I saw that on my Hellsing Ultimate Blurays. I do miss hearing guys like Steve Blum and Kirk Thorton.
Geneon USA was shut down (I believe they employed a lawyer or liason in an office for some time after that during their distro deal with FUNimation, but I'm pretty sure that ended, too). Not long after that, Geneon Japan was purchased by Universal Japan.
A number of former Geneon USA employers, now work for Aniplex of America (specifically, Henry Goto, President of AoA, held the same or similar position at Geneon USA).
@St0ck: Yeah, but whenever they do a complete series re-release, the make it 4 DVD+3BD instead of 4DVD+4BD.
@EyeOfPain: Hideki Henry Goto has the exact same position in Aniplex of America as he was during his Geneon years. I think he left in mid-2006 (to possibly join Aniplex Of America since that company was established in 2005) and Katsuhiro Tsurumoto took over.

Both Funimation and Sentai have been doing it this way for some time now.
@neonwalrus: funi does 2-dvd collections whilst Sentai recently began to do 3-dvd collections.

If Texas VA-ing is cheaper, then why haven't they done a western animation series. The closest thing to that was Red Vs. Blue: The Animated Series, which eventually got shelved. Had it actually made it with full episodes made, it would be the first western animation whose voices are done in Texas. However, since the way how the Red Vs. Blue voices are recorded are through the 360 headset's microphone as opposed to a separate voice recording room, I really wouldn't call it a legitimate example. Probably a potential candidate could be Invader Zim if it gets revived because of its expensive episode budget (I already came up with a possible cast: Greg Ayres as Zim, Ash Burch as GIR, Micah Solusod as Dib, Jamie Marchie as Gaz, J. Michael Tatum as Professor Membrane).
Another thing, and Funimation do get made of fun of for this, and I have laughed at some of the jokes - after a while you really do being to know the voices too well - oh, I'm hearing Karbowski, oh, now Rial(it's pretty much a 9/10 chance if it's a little kid character), Haberkorn, Sabat, Tipton, Marchi, oh, now it's Tatum (rock and roll!!) etc. They have a lot of voice actors, but for some reason, it feels like they only have a small number, I'm not sure why. Don't get me wrong, all these people are great, but it was nice to watch Hellsing Ultimate and hear some other people, like Crispin Freeman, or Kari Wahlgren.
Fate/Zero's dub will have Kari Wahlgren and Crispin Freeman, and Crispin shows up again in episodes 5-8 of Hellsing Ultimate.

Yes, your right about Fate/Zero, but the Hellsing Ultimate, Crispin Freemen didn't have too much of a presence in the series during your listed episodes - but that' because:

Alucard was on the aircraft carrier and on his way to London for three episodes, they even made fun of it a little on the end episode preview - he didn't show up again until episode 8 for the start of the next climactic battle where he unleashed all his power
If anything the dubbing these days is better, because voice actors have honed their skills.

That's no different from live action - I can put on any old movie and go "Oh there's Stallone" or "there's Jackie Chan"
I actually find it quite comfortable. A few different voices now and then are nice, but having entirely new casts is just uncomfortable.

Funi already has done that with Steins;Gate, except it's 2 DVD/2 BD.

That cause BD hold more info or whatever. So the BDs have more eps per disc so less disks in the packs.
I reject your reality and replace it with my own.
