Yeah for English Digimon fans, but I'm still holding out for an unedited release. I'd like to actually have intelligible subtitles for Tamers...
Think people just have to expect the idea...that an unedited release isn't coming. They knew the dubs would make them money, that's what was on TV, and as Digimon hardly had a DVD releases...it was a smart move for them to put them out the dubbed seasons.. It's like Viz finally releasing the old Poke'mon in sets...it's the same damn thing. I don't see people complaining about, "oh, were if my unedited Poke'mon. I want the original Japanese with subs"

It's definately my favorite, though I've only seen a little of S4, none of S5, and only a few episodes of Xros wars on Crunchyroll. Regardless, this is great news.
I seem to recall the Tamers dub being a little more faithful than the first two series - fewer bad jokes, more mature themes left in. Am I remembering this correctly?

It was generally better, yes. It still wasn't great (the dub wasn't quite true to Ruki/Rika's character, and messed up some key exchanges), but the show's unusual maturity was more or less left alone, from what I recall.

I loved Digimon Tamers when I was growing up in Singapore. I wanted a DigiVice toy, but I was never able to get one. I started re-watchinbg Digimon on Crunchyroll.
Now S4 needs to come out...Frontier had to be my favorite season...that, and love that Freeman voices int hat season...well, he's in 5, too...but
Did they even finish dubbing S5?

Very happy to see Tamer get a dvd release. S1 and 3 are probly my top favs of the series.
I reject your reality and replace it with my own.
Never watched the third series when it was on so this is my chance since it's coming to dvd i'll be checking it out for sure.

Awesome to see more digimon getting released.
@The Invertroid: it definitely had more mature themes than the previous two seasons did.
