Who doesn't enjoy Clannad? By far one of my favorites. As for my favorite, I'd have to go with Nagisa. On a side note though, the dubbed Sunohara just had me cracking up all the time.
I hate to be the shallow one, but I really can't stand the artstyle of Clannad's female characters' faces.
Not that I would judge an anime/manga over that, though. I watched a few episodes, but that was only because The Anime Network was having one of those days where they stream everything for free. I just couldn't motivate myself to watch all of the episodes then. It's a show I'd have to watch at my own pace.
Fuuko is hands down my favorite character in the series. Every scene with her and Tomoya up until the end of her arc was hilarious, especially when she went into starfish mode, I just couldn't stop laughing. Then there's her random appearances in After Story which was just more comedy gold lol.

Do you recommend Clannad and Clannad After Story? I was thinking about getting them. Can someone review the series here without any spoilers. I may get them.
Clannad uses elements of comedy and romance, it has well devoloped plot and characters and is extremely well written, i would recommend it to anyone, same applying for Clannad After Story which is a continuance of Clannad.
If you have seen Air or Kanon, they are all made by Key and based on what are referred to as dating sim type games. Air and Kanon were originally licensed and dubbed by ADV, Funimation holds the licenses for those now. Clannad and the After Story were licensed by Sentai Filmworks, which was a split off from ADV after they disappeared. The English dub has Luci Christian and David Matranga as the voice actors for the two main characters.
As for a series, it is a nice humor and drama driven series. The After Story itself certainly carries more a drama tone to it than anything else. If you have Netflix, I believe it is available on there now for instant streaming.

yea clannad was just awesome my favorite character was Tomoyo too, i also liked Sunohara but my Favorite is Tomoyo

As for the main topic, can't comment on the show, not my cup of tea, but seems to be a decent enough series.
