Anybody else watching this show?
For a show based on something called "Miniskirt Space Pirates", this certainly was not what I was expecting. It's been a long time since I've seen a good space opera, and that's exactly what it is. As a huge fan of old TV Sci-fi, this show has actually surpassed Nisemonogatari and Another as my favorite new show this season.
I am watching it and I am enjoying it. Kinda slow moving I think but otherwise its been good.

I've been watching it, yeah. And like you said, it's not what I would have expected, given the title. But it was a welcome surprise.
It moves along at a slower pace, but it makes it easier to get to know the characters and the episodes haven't really felt too slow to me so far. I've come to like Marika and the others through these intro episodes, so I'll care about what happens to them when things really get going. I've watched through episode 5, and it seems like it's been getting better with each one.
So yeah, it's a good show with fun characters, and I look forward to watching it each week. I'd say it's probably my number 2 show of the season behind Natsume season 4.
