I loved the way that Saya is portrayed as a klutz in this series. I also loved the part before the end where she was fighting that Jizo-type creature. This series may very well be a very good series this season. I also loved the music.
I couldn't really get into this first episode. Sure, it looked pretty, but none of the characters seemed all that interesting, and aside from Saya, I didn't catch a single name.
Maybe I'm just being overly critical after the last animated entry in the franchise, but I'm just not excited about Blood-C. I'll give it a few more episodes to pick up, but my expectations have fallen greatly.
seeing as i only saw any Blood + was because an old college roommate was in love with it, i really didn't go into Blood-C (i have been calling it Blood-Clamp since CLAMP did work on this) with any real interest besides knowing it would have nice art work.
Since i went in with a low expectation i did find with first episode enjoyable to say the least but like Blood+ i really do see it as one that will hold my interest for too long, when there are so many other interesting anime's out this season.
There needs to be a real good explanation as to why Saya-C trips over air and is clumsier than a hippie walking down the street on April 20th. Also if that blade is cursed or possessed I am going to start calling the show Blood-Crap.
So far so good, the series definetly felt like a CLAMP title so that is pretty good. Overall the plot seems kinda eh, but Im expecting it to get a bit better. So far out of the summer season of shows this seems like the only keeper that Ive found.

Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you.
As long as you remember Her, you are not alone.

君がまだまだですよ。
I just finished the first episode and all I have to say is AMAZING! I'm definitely gonna keep up with this series!
I thought the action was nice and all, but otherwise, this anime is dangling on my drop list. Didnt really dig the main characters design.
