@Funi9301: We have a general anime questions thread, and thread to reccomend anime for funi to pick up. (just thought I'd tell yea for future referance.)
But as per your question. Honestly its not one that can be given a legit yes or no, the only one who knows weather they will or won't pick up a title is Funimation themselves. Just be patiant, Funi's first con apperance is later this month, so you may get your answer then.
I'm wondering about this one myself. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Aquarion one of the very first, if not the first, anime that Funi did as a box set when they started moving away from singles? If so, it sold at least well enough to help justify the switch over. Anecdotally, I'd buy this new series. I found Aquarion to be. . . intriguing. It was different.

Hate to be a naysayer but I don't think it's likely.
Funimation recently decided not to renew the license for Aquarion so it'll eventually go out of print.
This new series could be an improvement (I haven't watched either title to know) but if the first series wasn't worth keeping around (underperformed? it did end up as S.A.V.E.) licensing a sequel series seems like a risk.
Naysayers, lol. I cant see it not getting a western release for some reason, then again no one even picked it up for streaming rights. Hopefully that doesnt mean it wont be picked up at all by no one.
No one knows. Aquarion hit SAVE a while back, but I believe it had a complete collection beforehand so it could just be the license slowly lapsing.
