Actually On Google Chrome I Went To The Angel Beats Website And I Translated It Into English, It Said Something About A Epilogue Story That There Thinking About Doing Just To Smooth Out The Story, It Said That It Is Going To Be About How Otonahi Finds "The Battlefront" Members In Real Life, This Was On The Website However This Is Only A Discussion With The Creators Of Angel Beats But I Hope They Go Thru With It, It Will Continue Right Where The Epilogue Left Off!

the second season could be based of the OVA were he stays and doesn't get reborn into the real world to help other move on
I would like to see an ova as well. But that would be more like another season from what you have mentioned. Ova are most of the times a few episode 1-6, And is normally a continuation the original series that gives a more conclusive ending. I want to see an ova that ties up all the loose ends, As well as showing what becomes of the love of otonashi and kanade! I think that would be one of the best ova's possible.
Although the series did end in a fashion that they very well could leave it and it would still feel complete and conclusive. I would still very much like to see another season or at least an OVA.
there has to be season 2 because in the prologue to Angel Beats it show Otonashi waiting for someone... that someone has to be his little sister because she was never shown in the afterlife. he's waiting on her to help her pass on and i think it would be a great story to continue with and have Otaonashi pass on to the next life with his little sister and have the others waiting there to greet him and his little sister. then tell a little bit about their new lives like have Yui and Hanata get married like he had promised her and show Iwasawa happy playing music for her friends. then show Otonashi, Kanade and Yuzu his sister all togther as one happy family. and to have them all at a reunion at the end to make it a happy ending and not such a sad one. that would make for a better Angel Beats ending. Just show them all again together happy.
Don't fix what's not broken. Angel Beats ended terrifically. Continuing it would require the second season to end differently (if they wanted to avoid being repetitive) and I can't think of an ending I'd like better than what we have. But I'd love to see a prequel. I'm curious about everyone's back stories and how they died.

I agree that a prequel, to address each character's backstory a little more would definitely be interesting.
