Been keeping up (or trying to at least) with Crunchyroll's simulcasts:
My Little Monster (my favorite by far this season)
Blast of Tempest (second favorite)
Magi
From the New World
Sword Art Online
Fell behind on Hiiro no Kakera season 2 after the second episode. Don't know if I'll get back to it since I don't like it and am reluctant to even finish it for completion's sake. Haven't tried out FUNi's simulcasts yet, and I have a feeling that I'll just end up marathoning them over winter break along with my DVD backlog.
Been meaning to watch more of Bakemonogatari since the BD release is so close, so I'll get to that this weekend. I've enjoyed what I've seen so far.
And now, I'm going to head off to Netflix to watch MLP: FIM season 2.
Since the last update, I have dropped Little Busters (ugh.) and Robotics;Notes (gosh what a boring as sin show). I have picked K back up as of last update. I've changed the rankings a bit, now it's in order from most to least favorite. No grades, nothing.
Magi: the labyrinth of magic #6-7
Hunter x Hunter 2011 #55-56
Blast of Tempest (Zetsuen no Tempest) #7-8

Tenchi Muyo GXP (on Adult Swim Toonami) saw the rest on demand too episodes 1 and 2
Inuyaha
I've started watching Rurouni Kenshin for the first time in a long while, via Netflix (since I don't think I like the show enough to go for its current price range).
The show's...interesting to watch. It feels like it's made by people who are really good at what they do--there's lots of really good staging, and the animation is quite nice for a typical Shonen Jump title. But it also feels like those same people don't truly understand Rurouni Kenshin. It feels more down-to-earth overall, but it also adds even more of the work's whiplashing comedy, and the result...doesn't quite gel.
That extends to the voice actors too. This is the first time I'm really experiencing the Japanese cast and...they're not great. Kaoru and Yahiko's seiyu in particular, sound monotone and forced. Honestly, from what I remember, I think the English dub had better casting.
I don't mean to rag on it though, it's just interesting to note. From what I remember, it definitely gets better (it already shows signs of this as of episode 4), so I'll keep with it.
Keeping up with my Crunchyroll simulcasts. But I also started Kamisama Kiss today.
Ohh, and I finally finished Chihayafuru. Can't wait for season 2 in January . I love the characters (especially Taichi and Kanade), but I hope Arata gets more screentime since I never really got around to liking him due to his very limited number of appearances.
I just started Steins;Gate. So far, it's really good! I really love the crazy comments from Okabe and the common sense we hear from Kurisu. So far, she's my favorite character. I guess all the hype wasn't for nothing.
Thats a really great series you will enjoy the ending
Been rewatching Pandora Hearts a couple of episodes per day. So excited for volume 13 this week....
Finished Black Butler finally. I enjoyed it for the most part, but it did take a while to get my full attention. I'd rate it "decent" overall. Not a great show but still far from being bad. I think one of my favorite episodes was learning about the servants' pasts and how they came to work at the mansion.
Started Kamisama Kiss (watched 1-10) this week. Wasn't expecting to like it as much as I am, but the characters likeable, it's funny, and I like the story it's telling.
Started Kimi ni Todoke (watched 1-17, minus 16). Sweet show with great characters. I do wish it would move a little bit faster and ease up on the misunderstandings though. It makes it hard to watch multiple episodes in a row like that.
Oh, and I also watched the first episode of Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee. I think I'll like this one.
Recently Finished:
Fractale
Deadman Wonderland
Heaven's Property 1&2
A Certain Magical Index
Currently Watching:
K-on Season 2
Fractale was a good series that actually ended a bit better then I expected. Deadman Wonderland was a lot of fun, but I was hoping for more closure at the end. Obviously there is more planned for the future. Heaven's Property was actually a lot better than i anticipated. Granted I did not expect to actually finish it. I typically do not like anime with a ton of fanservice and this series actually had a lot less then I expected. Decent story throughout, but again the ending was a bit lacking.
A Certain Magical Index was very good, but I was really hoping for more. I had heard all these good things about it and I guess that was making me expect something amazing. The last 2 episodes were probably the biggest disappointment, as I wasn't really feeling for this new character they just threw in there at the last second.
Only just started K-on Season 2 last night, seems just as good as the first season. Afterwards I will finally be watching the dub of Shakugan no Shana: Season 2. Really looking forward to that.
