Well I'll have to partially agree with NJ that I've heard that there have been some production issues with a lot of the anime that NIS has released. And the graininess on the Pandora Hearts DVDs is noticeable... but I think that they're trying to get it right.
After all, I can only imagine that licensing and releasing anime presents a host of issues not involved in releasing video games. I'm certain that the opposite is also true, but either way they're still pretty new to releasing stuff anime, so I'm willing to wait a while to see if they'll figure out how to deal with such issues, and I'm sure that they will.
Who knows? Katanagatari or Arakawa's releases could be their best yet as far as production quality goes. Let's just hope for the best and see what comes of it.
