I really think that they should make more of this show because I really liked this show. I don't know why but I just do . So they should definitly make more cause i've also finished all things of this show.
I would love to see more of the show as well. I had heard the Director of the show wanted to keep making it as long as they would let him but it would seem they didn't let him keep going for very long. I would love to see Funi license the OVA's but if they haven't already I have a feeling they never will.
I fell in love with this show, Funi if your listening I swear if you dubbed everything I'll go to best buy and buy it leagally please dub everything and make a season 3!
Considering the fact that the graphic novels of this show are still being created and produced in Japan, I believe they have the access and ability to make many more seasons. In fact, if you go on Amazon, they sell more then just the movie and seasons 1 &2. They also sell different volumes which are in Japanese only but have English subtitles. Additionally, there is a 2 episode 3rd season entitled ‘Ah! My Goddess: Fighting Wings. I hope this is just the beginning of a third season. Additionally, ‘The Adventures of Mini-Goddess’ was also created.
I pray that Funimation reads this and all the requests from the many fans and continues to create many more seasons and in English dubbed. Statistically for every 1 person that writes a comment or letter like these, there are between 100 to 1000 fans that do not right a comment or letter. So please, make more seasons.

We've been waiting on a possible season three for several years. Keep hoping. As long as the manga is still coming out, it's possible.
The fighting wings OVA is not a season 3. It was released in japan only before the release of season 2. It was 2 episodes only and was meant as a stand alone special, similar to the OAD released in February.
Expect the second OAD in September.
As a side note, Funimation licenses a series, for distribution, but doesn't create them. They may do the english dubs and marketing, but the studio in Japan decides whether there will be a new season.

That is another thing I find sad. Most anime series only go two seasons and maybe a movie or two. I don’t know if that is the culture of Japan or what but being American, I am use to 100 plus episodes on shows. I would LOVE to see this show do this. I foresee it becoming a national hit with excellent ratings
I have been noticing a series of OVAs and OADs running around with Ah! My Goddess. One was back in 2008 and now we have one in 2011...
Does anyone know if this is the studio's way of leading us to believe that the series is still alive?
Also, any indications that FUNimation is even interested in the OVAs/OADs?
We all continuously hope for a season 3, but in the mean time, the second OAD was released this week.
Not a bad story, but I think the art work has changed. The characters look different.
Let's keep the faith.
