Afro Samurai Discussion

Though the show isn't too current these days, it is becoming a great classic. Discuss the Afro's legacy here and buy the complete series on dvd!

Can't believe no one has commented.
I was so sleep on this anime , meaning I can not believe I passed this over. I remember when this series 1st came out and I’ll admit I was a little bias towards this anime-thx to all my friends that push me to watch this, peer pressure it helps lol-. Afro Samurai blew… my… mind.. the intensity , the fighting choreography and the graphic art details I had an anime + orgasm= aniasm shocked ( does it make since I don’t care - and don't be offended I’m just silly like that- tongue ) . Anyone that has watched Samurai 7 I believe you may like Afro Samurai as well as the movie. Please lets this amine be your 2011 anime of……..

Re: Afro Samurai Discussion

Afro Samurai is a great anime with an all star cast of Hollywood names: Samuel L. Jackson, Ron Perlman, Kelly Hu, Lucy Liu, Mark Hamill, whats not to love? I thought the character development in the original series was a bit weak for the supporting characters (I like Kelly Hu, but her character was disposed off quickly) but I was pretty impressed with the animation and choreography like LadyMeyesi. I enjoyed Resurrection more and Lucy Liu was awesome as a villainess.
