I love the funi app on roku but got one problem having trouble playing videos been wating to watch tenchi muyo and one vid I click takes me back to the roku box page please fix.
Im loving the new Roku app. As mentioned in other posts we need to be able to add series to the queue, not just episodes. It would be nice to indicate in the settings a preference for SD or HD, so you don't need to select it for every episode. The app works so much better for me than the web site does. Now you need to port it to android tablets so I can be happy with my Samsung Tab.
I just found this app on my roku and am loving it so far. but i will have to agree with everyone else when i say i hope in the future we can que whole series and not just episodes. also i don't know if it's just mine but i can't access very many shows through my roku. only what's on the start screen. thanks for the new app!
Amazing. Time to sign up for the elite service, lack of a Roku app was the only thing stopping me. Cheers, Funimation. You have bested my productivity yet again.
Thanks for all the comments. A couple of things I want to mention on some of these items.
- The 20 max episodes issue we just fixed so that shouldn't be an issue anymore. Please let us know if you still see it happening
- We are working on the bug with the ad when it backs up on your video right now. Should be fixed very soon.
- We add new content almost every day of the week. check out funimation.com/schedule/subscription/coming-soon & funimation.com/schedule/free-streaming/coming-soon for details.
- We hope to have a console app one day but do not have one in the works currently.
Thanks again for all your input. Every thing you send over helps us make a better app. If you have any more issues with the roku app feel free to contact us at [email protected].
Thanks Funimation -- I've been waiting for the Roku app. You've gained a subscriber
What about an app for the PS3 or XBOX 360?
A great start. The app still needs work: the items in queue should be series not episodes.
I started my trial subscription based on the Roku app and I am thrilled so far.
Most video played flawlessly but one restarted endlessly. A few times I saw that a number of videos were suddenly unavailable.
Please keep fixing bugs, making the app better and adding new content and you will have a very happy subscriber.
In addition to fixing the streaming ad play so it doesn't restart at the beginning of the episode after every single ad, I agree that queue should queue up the series rather than the episode.
It's about time!! I got mad last month and canceled my elite subscription, but I am happy to say that I have reactivated my elite subscription just a few moments ago and am looking forward to some great anime streaming on my Roku. Yay!!
