March 15th (or the Ides of March in Latin) gets its infamous meaning thanks to William Shakespeare's play, Julius Caesar. Where a soothsayer tells Caesar, "Beware the Ides of March". The message was a warning of his death. Which of course came true when Caesar was assassinated by a group of conspirators, including people he trusted.
Ever since then the Ides of March has stood for a warning of doom or even better - REVENGE!
To celebrate such an auspicious day we decided to share just a few of our favorite examples of revenge in anime. We would love to hear what are some of your favorite anime revenge episodes as well.

I have to agree with Vspates, FMA Brotherhood. With Roy was a really good revenge scene but there are quite a few of them scattered throghtout the series. Edward beating the crap out of the father figure to all the hemonculia at the the end was a sweet revenge/ending along with the flask loosing and never getting the true meaning when he was back at the door...very nice!
I would also like to throw in in Maka Alma fight at the conclusion of Soul Eater as well.
If you think the lust one was bad, the
*spoilers*
scene with envy is faaaaaaaaaar worse, where Roy just completely unleashes absolute hell upon Envy and makes his eyes explode amongst other painfully and obscenely violent things.
The fmabroohood with Roy...ooww my goodness that was hot!! lol!!! He got his vengeance!!!
