The Baka and Test: Summon the Beast OVA hit stores yesterday. To mark the third release in the world of Baka and Test we are holding a contest that takes a certain kind of person. Someone who knows the value of knowledge and intelligence...and is willing to ignore all that at a chance to win some pretty sweet prizes!
Class F is looking for three new students to join them. Of course these need to be students who meet the class', um, standards. So we will be asking a series of questions to find the right candidates. The student who submits the "best" answer will join the class and be given a welcoming gift.
Answer the following question. Most creative, unintelligent, or 'BAKA' answer wins the prize!
We will be asking a question today (see below), Thursday, and Friday. Post your answer in the comments of each blog post to enter. You will have 24 hours to answer each question. Winners will be announced before the next question. You may enter once for each question. This contest is open to residents of US and Canada excluding Quebec and Puerto Rico. Click here for full rules.

synopsis:
Class F is back in the Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts: OVA Special Collection! Fumizuki Academy's popular Refreshing Festival is quickly approaching, and the student body is busy prepping class projects. For Yoshii and the gang, there's a lot more at stake than showing off for campus visitors. If Class F doesn't profit from its festival project and buy some new gear for its dumpy room, Mizuki's parents are going to send her to another school! Of course, even if the slack pack makes some money, they'll have to win one of the toughest Summoner Test Wars of their lives before they're allowed to spend it. It's not going to be easy, that's for sure. But once the underachievers of Class F get motivated, they don't give up - and they can't even spell surrender!
If you missed them Season One (DVD/Blu-ray Combo) and Season Two (DVD/Blu-ray Combo) are available now.
Question #1: Math
You’re on a train that leaves New York for Orlando at 8AM, going 60 mph. Three hours later, a train leaves Orlando for New York, going 85 mph. Orlando and New York are 1200 miles apart. What time will you be able to see the other train pass?
BAKA answer example: Who takes trains nowadays? I’ve never taken a train in my life. I’m not even from New York, but even if I was, I’d be taking a plane to Miami, and you definitely can’t see the train from your window when you’re above the clouds. Am I going to Disney World?

This question seriously killed my brain.
wait you mean to tell me people wake up at 8am? and I'm new in york? I want to see the old york where is the train to that place? and who is orlando?
Again, and I'll answer this question; when we look at the continental railroad and where the future of rail transportation is, and that is the future of where we're headed with the company, we think that is the best offering for customers. We really believe, and if you look at what we've done with scheduling trains there, it's actually of great value to our customers and also what we think is the great value of our company. I think that is a very attractive opportunity right now in terms of transportation.
I think it's important to remember that the continental railroad isn't just for individual trains. We recently announced a continental rail system for teams, and we think the collaboration between conductors that you have with railroads for teams is the better opportunity for both teams and enterprises when you think of the combination of what we are doing with the continental railroad and freight transport.
I think the message that I'm trying to send to all of you is that the continental railroad is the future of transportation and when you look at the value that passengers, whether they are individual cars or all the way to full trains, are getting through the continental railroad, we just think that is a phenomenal value for passengers.
When New York thinks about how to attract the next generation, again the future of transportation is the continental railroad. You know, we're always looking at departure times around the world; and again, I think the meeting today is about where we're headed as a company with the continental railroad and freight transport. We're constantly looking for the way, what is the best way to deliver value to our passengers. I think the success that we're seeing in the Orlando market, I think is representative of two things: first is when you think about what is happening with the industrial economy here, Orlando is actually one of the leaders in freight transport spenders and understanding that the return of investment of that freight transport spending is relevant. When you look at the leading solutions in that space, we think we have the leading solutions in that space. The return of investment on that for full train passengers is really obvious. And so when we look at it holistically we make that we're driving great value to passengers as they're transferring lines and our local team continues to work with passengers to make sure the value is evident to our passengers.
The answer is that the trains will never meet, due to a disruption in time and space due to a localized event horizon forming at exactly 12:30pm Monday in Utah the train leaving Orlando is sucked in and is never heard from again... The train leaving New York reaches Orlando Tuesday at 3:00am.
Crap...I'M ON THE WRONG TRAIN!
(Thinks in head)
"Hmmmm... Train heading from New York, train heading from Orlando. Wait.....)
(Becomes nervous and suddenly blurts out)
"There gonna crash!"
Answer: Who needs trains I'll just borrow someones time machine and it will get me their in no time at all because isn't that possible. Wait wouldn't it take me the same amount of time if I had used a train. Nah, time machines wouldn't take as long as a train since it would be instant. Maybe.
Okay, so let's see? I live in Florida, so I know there isn't a train anywhere here, UNLESS the state decided to crate a secret sky train that has the ability to also dig underground at high speeds. So the only way the trains would see each other is if the Florida Train had to fly instead of dig and everyone on the New York Train saw the Florida Train. THEN the U.S. Government would have to blow up the New York Train because they saw the Florida Train in action. So the news reports would say that a train just crashed. Therefore and thusly, though means of technicality, the trains would not see each other.
Ok. So this is a question about two trains but what if there was really only one train. So if they were trying to trick us by saying that there were two trains then why wouldn't they trick us by saying that it was going east. I think it's going North. So with that in mind the one train was leaving the south station at 8am. Wait no it left at 9:17am heading North as it passed nothing and got to the north station and 10:27pm.
**raises hand**
Teacher: "Yes, you in the back."
Boy: "Well..."
(and thus begins a conversation in his head)
- wait a second, what if there is weather?
**eyes widen**
- Is it winter? How much snow is on the ground? Is it snow or is it ice? What if it's a mixture? What if it's not winter, maybe it's spring?
**starting to panic**
- If it's spring and we're travelling around hills or mountains...OH GOD, MOUNTAINS!!!! That means...
**jaw drops**
- MUDSLIDES!!!!!
**closes mouth and now has an inquisitive look on his face**
- But it could be in the summer...nice weather, can see everything.
**closes eyes and imagines the image with a relaxed smirk on his face**
- The animals on the farm grazing without any problems in the world. People walking around in love, walking hand in hand. Workers working hard at their jobs. Oh it's starting to get a little dark, must be rain. Wind is starting to pick up a bit...a lot actually.
** as a cow flies by in his dream, he snaps out of trance with eyes wide open and jaw dropped and super panicked as he stands straight up and runs out of the classroom in terror screaming...(which ends his own conversation in his head)
Boy: "HURRICANE!!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! **crying**
Teacher looks confused and struck with awe.
Teacher: "Uhhh..."
**Teacher sees a girl with her hand raised intently as if she knows the answer.**
Teacher: How about you miss?
Girl: "6:05PM?"
