The Baka and Test: Summon the Beast OVA hit stores yesterday. To mark the third release in the world of Baka and Test we are holding a contest that takes a certain kind of person. Someone who knows the value of knowledge and intelligence...and is willing to ignore all that at a chance to win some pretty sweet prizes!
Class F is looking for three new students to join them. Of course these need to be students who meet the class', um, standards. So we will be asking a series of questions to find the right candidates. The student who submits the "best" answer will join the class and be given a welcoming gift.
Answer the following question. Most creative, unintelligent, or 'BAKA' answer wins the prize!
We will be asking a question today (see below), Thursday, and Friday. Post your answer in the comments of each blog post to enter. You will have 24 hours to answer each question. Winners will be announced before the next question. You may enter once for each question. This contest is open to residents of US and Canada excluding Quebec and Puerto Rico. Click here for full rules.

synopsis:
Class F is back in the Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts: OVA Special Collection! Fumizuki Academy's popular Refreshing Festival is quickly approaching, and the student body is busy prepping class projects. For Yoshii and the gang, there's a lot more at stake than showing off for campus visitors. If Class F doesn't profit from its festival project and buy some new gear for its dumpy room, Mizuki's parents are going to send her to another school! Of course, even if the slack pack makes some money, they'll have to win one of the toughest Summoner Test Wars of their lives before they're allowed to spend it. It's not going to be easy, that's for sure. But once the underachievers of Class F get motivated, they don't give up - and they can't even spell surrender!
If you missed them Season One (DVD/Blu-ray Combo) and Season Two (DVD/Blu-ray Combo) are available now.
Question #1: Math
You’re on a train that leaves New York for Orlando at 8AM, going 60 mph. Three hours later, a train leaves Orlando for New York, going 85 mph. Orlando and New York are 1200 miles apart. What time will you be able to see the other train pass?
BAKA answer example: Who takes trains nowadays? I’ve never taken a train in my life. I’m not even from New York, but even if I was, I’d be taking a plane to Miami, and you definitely can’t see the train from your window when you’re above the clouds. Am I going to Disney World?

I think you are forgetting a few pieces of real information. First am i driving the train, because i will NOT BE RUSHED FOR "SOME PEOPLE" NEED TO GET TO "WORK" ON "TIME". Second why am i on any of those trains!?!?!! i live in Colorado...or do i or am i sleep living again...!?!?!Next is it rainy? It always makes me kind of sad when it rains and i just don't want to get out of bed. Lastly who walks, rides a bike, drives, rides a plain or rides a train anymore! its all about pirates ships these days.
yes
First we gotta find out how much faster the second train is going. so 85mph - 60mph = 25. Then we take that, multiply it by the difference in the time they leave, so 25mph x 3hours, so 75 miles. Then we take the distance and divide it by the speed we found, so 1200/75 = 16. They will meet at 16 o'clock.
Just google it
It's impossible to answer becouse you never gave how many stops between New York and Orlando their are or how long the train stops at each of them.
Since the other train is on the same track you will know when it collides.
You’re on a train that leaves New York for Orlando at 8 AM, going 60 mph. Three hours later, a train leaves Orlando for New York, going 85 mph. Orlando and New York are 1200 miles apart. What time will you be able to see the other train pass?
From my calculations, I believe the time would be 2 hours and 1 minute. I'm not sure but that's what I got
I.. DON'T KNOW!!!

Me, take a train, please!! I would not dare to travel on one, even if I am in mortal danger. I would travel on a hot air balloon and look down on everything. I would be acting like a fool and say "Ha", "Eat this, suckers". Yeah, I think that riding on a train is awesome. People would not know who is riding on a hot air balloon. It will be a sweet and cool ride that I am taking.
Trains, no one rides trains anymore...unless it is the Hogwarts Express which be going in the entirely wrong direction. But I digress, one would never see the other train coming until it was right in front of their face....which is why the only way to get from New York to Orlando would be by car simply so one is not forever stuck in in an endless cacophony of noise with no way to get out, for by car you may stop and see the sights, so, the answer must be by car where you can have an adventure within your trek to Orlando and see both trains as the collide.
So a train leaves New York for Orlando at 8AM, going 60 mph.. "mhm I see". Then three hours later, a train leaves Orlando for New York, going 85 mph "mhm mhm". Orlando and New York are 1200 miles apart. Okay sounds easy enough. 6!
