To Aru Majutsu No Index

Why is there no head line for this title? It was announced long ago. Did Funimation lose the rights or will they give them up never release this title?

Re: To Aru Majutsu No Index

I'm willing to bet FUNimation is NOT going to ever release this title.
Sadly this series is far to ahead of them to even make it worth their
while anyways. I mean, this series has had 2 INDEX series, a Movie,
A spin-off Series Kagaku Railgun (26ep), and now a Final Season III.

--Which also comes to question, why is J.C. ending all their big series
this year? Is something going to happen to them? I hope not,
they still have a long ways to go with Hayate. (Which also will never see
an English release... And the Animax dub is actually quite good.)---

Point Blank.

ToAru Index is DONE.
SHANA is DONE.

Bandai killed Hayate.

And there are so many J.C.Staff Productions that are so very good.
Also, Sentai beat Funimation at Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works.
I hope they know that losing Fate/Zero will be a big loss for them as well.

Actually I listened to it, and to tell the truth, the audio sounded like sh!t and Hayate sounded like Ash Ketchum, which causes me to believe that if Funimation re-licensed it, they would use Brina Palencia (who did androgynous boys like Hideyoshi and Ciel from Baka and Test and Black Butler, respectively) for Hayate instead of Todd Haberkorn.

That's why it should be re-licensed with an uncut dub, either by Funimation or Sentai (if they are interested).

A. The length is not a problem at all. That's nothing.

People have licensed and released series that had far more catching up to do and made it work.

B. There is no official word on a Season 3 [though I'd love if it did come to fruition, along with more Railgun]. There is official word that more of both [though Railgun is iffy according to the article] are on the way this year, but nothing regarding specifics.

C. There is nothing suggesting the third season will be the final one like with Shana. And seeing as the Index light novels are still coming out, I actually highly doubt it.

Shana's third season is only the last because its story has been wrapped up and all the light novels released with the third season covering all of the rest of them..not the case with Index.

Neither of these properties are anime-original...so if J.C. Staff is ending any....it's only because they've reached their end in the source material.

She is a main character, though, which is what he was getting at. Albeit incorrectly as she never lost her position as such.

Those three may be the chief protagonists of sorts, but they aren't really the only main cast members.

Re: To Aru Majutsu No Index

I hear the movie will have new content from the author for index. I am really happy i will not be a rehash of what has happened in season I and II of Index. I would love to read the light novels but will have to do with what makes it state side since learning Japanese is out for me. I may know a few words here and even enjoy the voice talents but i still need subtitles. I can not wait to see who they use for the English voice cast for this show.

I hope it sells well here in the states.
