Theres a general anime questions thread in the anime section. Just so you know. Also Index is one of thos shows that is/was in limbo along with many other titles caught up in the whole genon-universial mess. It will most likely stream sometime this year though I would think (if it does get a stream that is.)

There is no listing in the forums board for this series. The last info I've seen was a post from someone talking to a Funi rep at a con from Sept 2011. I have asked once before about this show myself, but overzealous moderation posted a nonsensical reply and locked the thread.

Wow, they lock many threads with little feed back on the site.
not shocked still love some of the titles.
I THINK one the loss of corp backing and money caused some of the cash flow to get lost. This caused a problem with so many new titles. The real delay, much like asking Funimation to get much better servers due to traffic issues with in the video player and suttering and play back issues.
I bet it's a cash flow issue.
Do not Get me wrong i own a lot of funimation box sets that sit on my self. I have a wish list that's long. When the server problems get taken care of I will subscribe to there online service and others. Crunchyroll, theanimenetwork, being two others.
I hope such great shows do not suffer due the long release wait for any type of release state side.
I mean season two for index has passed in japan.
Heck they are working on a movie for index now as well.
The railgun manga is being released by seven seas entertainment.
