Wait, what? When did he say that? If that's true then I suppose we won't be seeing him in any dubs for a while, which is fine, as he was one of the overused VA's, anyway. (not saying that I don't like him, just that it's annoying to see certain VA's used in so many dubs..)

That's usually the part where you provide the voice actor who could do better, proving your point and hopes for the latter. Like Trina Nishimura, or Leah Clark.
Back in the day it didn't matter how much Patton was in, he was the f***in Nolan North of dubs back then, and was damn good at everyone of them. His Graham was utterly fantastic in Baccano!
I didn't give a optional name because I'll be honest I don't know who I would trust with the role. A Hillary Haag using the voice she used for Nene Romanov in BGC T: 2040 or maybe a Wendee Lee I know could pull it off but neither of them work for Funi.
It looks like they did a great job on casting the guys. The girls on the other hand.. I honestly didn't expect much out of Index, and correctly assumed she was going to get a bad sounding little girl voice but I was downright upset when I heard Misaka. She sounds like she belongs on Yugioh or something screaming LETS DUEL. Not really the impression I had of her from watching Railgun. Im really worried now about how Kuroko is going to sound.

Huh. Hers from Brittney Karbowski was actually my favorite performance...going off the trailer.
Of course, having a fitting voice is one thing. It'll be how she does Mikoto's tsundere moments that nails my final judgment.
As for Index...Have to disagree on that as well. Admittedly, though, that's more because I like Monica Rial's style, but she isn't without talent. Though I would be lying if I said I thought it wasn't a fitting tone for a character like Index. lol
But again, I have to see more than just the brief glimpse a short trailer could provide before I can give a full score on her..or anyone else.
I will agree about the guys all having interesting casting and, like some of the girls, they have the benefit of having a couple of talents I have personally not heard before.
Hmm. I just wonder why a big character like Aleister got left out of the casting announcement. He's a major antagonist of the story, after all.
Everyone is fine aside from Index from the trailer, but that's just because I don't like Monica Rials high pitch voice in general. Karbowski, and Solusod fit perfectly.
I haven't ever heard of or anything of Austin Tindle, as I originally wanted Eric Vale so I have little to compare. I wanted Laura Bailey as Kuroko...but she's moved to LA with Willingham. Oh well Alison made watching Darker than Black Season 2 bearable, I have faith she'll make an awsm Kuroko.
Personally the Voices sounded pretty good. But I really want to hear Accelerator. His original voice was just epic. I really hope they were able to retain that in the dub ver.
